A serious illness or injury can cause significant financial hardship for your family. Disability insurance, provided through Prudential, replaces a portion of your income to help you continue paying your bills and meeting your financial obligations during this difficult time.

Short-term disability
Carlisle provides Company-paid coverage for all regular, full-time employees. Short-term disability coverage pays you a disability benefit for up to 26 weeks.
Long-term disability
Carlisle provides Company-paid coverage for all regular, full-time employees. Long-term coverage protects you from the financial impact of an extended disability.
Short-Term Disability
Carlisle's short-term disability coverage through Prudential provides you with:
- Automatic, company-paid coverage for hourly and salaried employees; no need to enroll.
- Benefits that start on the first day of accident or after three business days of a qualified illness.
- Hourly employees are eligible to receive payments equal to 75% of their pay each week for up to 26 weeks.
- Salaried employees may receive 100% of their pay for eight weeks followed by 75% of their pay for up to 18 weeks.
Salary Continuation benefits are offset by any state disability benefits or Social Security disability benefits. Long-Term Disability
Carlisle's long-term disability coverage through Prudential provides you with:
- Automatic, company-paid coverage for regular, full-time employees; no need to enroll.
- Benefits that start after you have been disabled for 180 days.
- Payments equal to 60% of your salary, up to a maximum of $25,000 per month.
Long-term disability payments will continue for as long as you are disabled, depending on your age when disability begins. Certain exclusions as well as pre-existing condition limitations may apply.
