Short-Term Disability
Short-Term Disability benefits are available when you must be absent from work due to a non-occupational illness or injury.

Long-Term Disability
Long-Term Disability (LTD) covers 60% of your base annual earnings to a $25,000 maximum/month. Benefit begins after 180 days of disability and payments will last for as long as you are disabled, depending on your age when disability begins. Certain exclusions as well as pre-existing condition limitations may apply. Paid Parental Leave (PPL)
Eligible employees receive up to two weeks of Paid Parental Leave (PPL) after the birth, adoption or foster placement of a child. PPL must be taken within 12 months of birth, adoption, or placement, and it can be taken in one or two continuous blocks of time. PPL supplements any applicable state benefit programs to provide you with 100% of your base pay for up to two weeks. Prudential can assist with PPL and STD eligibility information. Leave of Absence
You may be eligible for a leave of absence if you are unable to work
- Because of a serious health condition that makes you unable to perform the functions of your job
- Because of the birth of your child or the placement of a child with you for adoption or foster care
- In order to care for your spouse, child, or parent who has a serious health condition
- Qualifying exigency for your spouse, child, or parent’s military deployment to a foreign country
- To care for a covered service member with a serious injury or illness
